The band KOMATOZ was established in 2000 year in St. Petersburg, Russia. At the moment KOMATOZ is one of the most active bands in Russia.The first record album HATED-2003.It was a hardcore-punk. In 2005, the band recorded a split with band Distress. Having played several European tours 2005-2008 recorded a split with the Czech band Demarche. The band changed its sound and it was already a Crust-thrash. In the same year recorded the album WITHIN THE LAW, with the same sound Crust-thrash. In 2009 comes the first vinyl release of a split EP with the Italian band Repulsione. In 2010, the band changed again and recorded their next album, TWO HANDS on the CD and on vinyl LP. The sound was closer to thrash sound, and now we can say that the group plays with elements of Thrash Hardcore and Death. In 2012, the split EP out on vinyl with a band Kansalaistottelemattomuus (Finland). KOMATOZ band regularly travels to European tours and have a lot of shows.
